Advice from a pro?

Someone has suggested that we use our blog to speak to brides about their planning issues, their worries, their excitement and their ideas. So if you are a bride, or a groom, just send us some comments.

Today, the shop is closed. Rothwell is a funny place. People in Rothwell don’t use our shop – athough it is fully of partyware and gifts, handmade greetings cards and wrapping paper. We’re still newcomers to the shop in Rothwell, we’ve only been here 18 months and apparently it takes Rowellians two years to start using a new shop in Rothwell.

So today, I’ve been to IKEA with mum to take a display cabinet back that was too big for our exhibition stand; popped in to see a competitor and went to the wholesalers to pick up some lovely pearl clover for some wedding invitations.

See my blog is going to be boring and uninteresting – I’m off to surf other blogs to see how I can make my life more exciting.

Who am I; who are we?

I’ve recently been introduced to blogging and I want to have a go – I may be boring, I may be uninteresting; but I have to have a go.

I am Jo Nicholson, the wedding stationery designer for Wedding Paraphernalia; a retail company in the heart of rural Northamptonshire offering wedding stationery, wedding favours, gifts and accessories. I run this business; along with my sister Mandie. We run this business; how good or how bad will show in our blog.

Welcome to our life; Wedding Paraphernalia.
